I need some motivation. I was on a roll for a while with my exercise & eating plan, but since my brother’s wedding, I’ve hit a slump. I’m not pigging out, but I’m not making the healthiest choices either. My exercise has dwindled down to 1 day a week, if I’m lucky. I always have an excuse… but most of the time, it’s work. I either have a deadline with design work, or my day-to-day tasks are taking me down. Also, the weather has changed and I’m less motivated to look good in shorts. Layers are the dieter’s worst nightmare. Although they’re always nice to help hide the extra helping of cheesecake.
I think I need an overhaul. I need to take a look at the workout classes I can attend and make sure I go! I also need to plan some meals around health, instead of convenience. Heck, this picture is enough to get me motivated! I’m definitely sick of being chubby, but it’s so stinkin’ hard getting skinny.
I will report back in a week and let you know how my new plan is coming along. I’m hoping I can resist the Halloween candy… and the Thanksgiving meal… and Christmas dinner. Oh poo. Maybe I’ll start fresh at the start of the year? Kidding.
